DS1/DS3 Maintenance (With hands on Lab)
Description:
The DS1/DS3 Maintenance is an instructor-led learning activity
that is 4 days in length which emphasizes real life network
problem conditions and teaches the methodology required to
isolate and repair those conditions.
Our state of the art training lab consists of a 3-node SONET
ring emulating 3 central office locations and a customer premise
site. Simulated DS1 and DS3 circuits are created using network
elements, such as, D4 channel banks, M13 multiplexers and the
Tellabs 531 1/0 cross-connect system. Both T1 repeater and HDSL
lines are created to provide lab exercises on simulated copper
line facilities. The class focus is on hands-on lab training
with 50% of the class time devoted to lab exercises utilizing
modern DS1/DS3 portable test equipment.
Our DS1/DS3 Maintenance Instructors are experienced telecommunications
professionals with extensive experience in the maintenance of digital
transmission services.
