• We assess our students knowledge of the subject being presented. This allows us to recognize our level of audience and teach accordingly through verbal detail and focused lab exercises.
• Second, we use a variety of classroom visuals. The student gains a mental picture of what is being discussed which opens opportunities for in-depth discussions of real world experiences.
• Third, we use simulations through a lab environment to show the students how each process works and why it is important to them. This gives the student  "hands on" experience and they must demonstrate their understanding of the concept at hand.
• Fourth, The instructor reviews with the class all topics to ensure a complete understanding before moving onto the next subject. By using these techniques coupled with quality practices, checklists, conformance guidelines and job aides, the student's new knowledge can be accurately transferred back to the work environment.
