suit-cased instructor-led learning activity that is two days in length
and incorporates a portable lab. The course is designed to instruct the student
in the KEY aspects of DS1/DS3 and SONET applications and maintenance.
This 2 day course provides a
through understanding of maintenance issues involved with the transport of
DS3 in today’s multi-vendor environment. This instructor led lab intensive
course provides the knowledge required to turn-up and maintain DS3
facilities within the central office as well the knowledge required to
transport the DS3 over SONET network elements. At the end of the class the
student will have the knowledge required to utilize network element
performance monitoring data and local test sets to isolate and explain DS3
maintenance troubles.
This class is a one day
instructor led class consisting of lecture and lab exercises that can be suit-cased to the customer site. The course includes
maintenance and provisioning exercises as well as cable pair qualification
utilizing cable pair simulators.
This course is a 1-day,
5 lesson, instructor-led course which explores
numerous telephony topics. Placing a local call, POTS, signaling, central
office, loaded and non-loaded cable pairs and switches of a telephony
network are key learning areas in this course. This is a great course in
the establishment of a telephony learning baseline.
This course is a 3-day, 12 lesson, instructor-led course which explores
numerous telephony topics.
This course provides an advanced flow of how telephone
calls (local and long distance) take place. Also included are: types of
signaling, signaling requirements, equipment in a central office, switch
types and other elements that comprise a telephone network. Digital
lines, fiber optics, SONET, DLC and digital data services are
incorporated into this course. The material is presented in 12 lessons.
